GC TECH Ltd

GC Tech Ltd is  a small engineering firm based just outside Kildary near Invergordon, Scotland. 

Basically, you name it and I'll have a go at making it. 

I started out life many moons ago as an engineering (welding and fabrication) trainee. From there, that’s gone on to large industrial fabrication for the oil industry and then providing engineering support for the same. 

The time came that, living in up the road and travelling each weekend to Aberdeen was just not cutting it any more so the towel was duly thrown in and homeward bound it was.

My grandfather was a blacksmith and I have always had an avid interest in fabrication, whether it be making or fixing bits on vehicles or drawing or designing my own stuff. It was only natural then that I try and earn a living from it. It’s something I enjoy and they say that “it isn’t work if you enjoy it”.

Further to that, GC Tech Ltd still takes on projects and contracts in support of the Oil and Gas industry. Whether that be offshore projects involving construction activities or onshore based coordination/ engineering activities. Over the years we've been privileged to work on many projects for some of the major players in the Oil and Gas Industry.

So now at GC Tech Ltd, I produce all manner of bespoke steel fabrications. Every one is hand built to my own designs, with great attention to detail. Alongside that the ongoing Oil & Gas Industry support continues.

In terms of fabrications, really, the plan is to be only limited by imagination so, if you have an idea then give me a shout and I’ll see if I can make it a reality. I’m happy to take commissions for anything really. I have plenty of ideas, that I’m working on. 

Everything is designed and built by me alone, and there may be times when existing contracts/ commitments conflict so there will be a lead time for each project.
